Synopsis of “Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale” K-Drama:
In a world where dreams collide with harsh reality, Shim Jae-Rim aspires to become her own Cinderella. After her father’s passing, she faces a challenging situation: a stepmother, Hwang So-Ra, and two stepsisters, Soo-Jin and Hwa-Jin. So-Ra, once infatuated with Jae-Rim’s father, now wonders about her own future. Jae-Rim discovers a letter from her father, urging her to work at Chungdam Heaven, a social club for the wealthy, and find a rich husband.
At Chungdam Heaven, the naive CEO, Moon Cha-Min, struggles to keep the business afloat. Despite being from a chaebol family, he isn’t swimming in money. When Jae-Rim attends a wedding at the club, fate intervenes: Cha-Min’s Hermes scarf lands in her arms, sparking hope.
